Safeco Insurance
Combining Variety and ValueThe name Safeco is a combination of the words “safe” and “co” (the abbreviation for company). They’re aptly named because their company’s product line can keep everyone safe in some aspect of their life.
Their powerful product line includes:
- Car insurance
- Motorcycle insurance
- Boats and watercraft
- Classic cars
- RVs
- ATVs and off-road vehicles
- Golf carts and low-speed vehicles
A complete lineup of property coverage
They also have a complete lineup of property coverage, including:
- Homeowners
- Renters
- Condo
- Landlord
- Home warranty
You won’t find many insurers offering landlord coverage (great if you have rental property).
They also offer other types of insurance – umbrella, identity recovery, and pet health insurance that has coverage limits up to $15,000.
The common thread throughout all of these coverages – exceptional protection at very competitive rates. That’s value.
Who is Safeco?
Safeco’s history dates back to 1923 through the General Insurance Company of America (“The General”). In 1953, The General created Safeco (which really stands for “Selective Auto and Fire Insurance Company of America”).
You possibly had heard of Safeco before, but thanks to their extensive advertising, you’ve probably heard of their parent company - Liberty Mutual.
Safeco became part of Liberty Mutual in 2008. They saw this as a strategic move that would allow them to develop a solid line of personal insurance products because of the financial strength of Liberty Mutual.
Safeco’s personal insurance products fit nicely into the Kelly Klee portfolio. We recommend them to our clients when their solution meets a need because of the quality of their coverage, their competitive rates, and their exceptional service.
